Qn. What are marsupials?
These are mammals with a pouch / pocket on their abdomen.
Qn. How is a punch important to pouched mammals?
- For carrying the young ones.
- For protecting the young ones.
Note:
The word marsupial means a pouch or bag. Characteristics of pouched mammals – They have a pouch.
- Their hind limbs are longer than the fore limbs.
- They have a long tail for balancing while hopping.
- They move by hopping
